What are Gig Buddies Group Social Events?
Gig Buddies group social events are hosted by the GB team so that all signed-up participants and volunteers in the Gig Buddies project can catch up and do fun stuff in a group setting.
Monthly group social events are held all over Metro Sydney and Central Coast.
The main focus of the Gig Buddies project is to "buddy-up" participants and volunteers so they can catch up and go to their own events together.
Gig Buddies group social events are a "bonus" way for participants to meet people and socialise.
All group social events are run as "not-for-profit".
Participants only pay for a group social event if they need to cover the cost of admission tickets, venue hire and/or catering.
Group social events are included* as part of being in the Gig Buddies project.
* participants pay for their own food and drinks (unless a catered event)

What are Buddy Benefits?
Buddy Benefits are special deals that are donated to the Gig Buddies project
These can be:
- free or discounted tickets or entry fees
- free or discounted activities
- food or drink specials
- give-aways
- exclusive access to an event
- discounted memberships
Who are Buddy Benefits for?
Buddy Benefits are for gig buddies' pairs to enjoy together.
This is:
- Participants who are currently in Gig Buddies*
- Volunteers who currently have a gig buddy *participants must have an active Service Agreement with the Gig Buddies project
How do I get a Buddy Benefit?
Use the online form to apply for the benefit

Call/email the Gig Buddies team and ask for the Buddy Benefit
Why do I need to ask for a Buddy Benefit?
Buddy Benefits are for Gig Buddies participants and volunteers only, so we can't share these amazing special deals on our public website (otherwise anybody could use them!)
What happens next?
When you have filled out a form, or contacted the Gig Buddies team, we will then share a special code, a link, or a ticket for the special deal. You will then be able to enjoy your Buddy Benefit!
How are these different to the Group Social Events?
The Buddy Benefit events are not hosted by Gig Buddies staff.
Gig Buddies staff will not be at any of the events on the Buddy Benefits page.

Both volunteers and participants can contact the Gig Buddies team for a Buddy Benefit.
