We’re now calling on the Gig Buddies’ community and their friends, family, colleagues, neighbours and anyone else in between, to support our cause by buying a ticket or two.
Tickets to our raffle cost the following:
1 ticket: $2.00
6 tickets: $10.00 ($1.67 per ticket)
13 tickets: $20.00 ($1.54 per ticket)
35 tickets: $50.00 ($1.43 per ticket)
As per the breakdown above, the more you buy the cheaper they become!
I want to buy, but....
Our charity raffle is open to everyone - even if you’re not part of the Gig Buddies’ community and even if you’re unable to join us in Surry Hills.
The draw will be made on the night of the event (Monday 7 September) and winners, if they’re not present, will be notified the following day.
Let's get quizzical
Now that the raffle prizes have been announced, we’re busy putting the finishing touches to our trivia questions, along with one or two surprises that will be known on the night.
Tickets to our trivia fundraiser, taking place in two weeks time in Surry Hills, are selling fast.
For those not in the know, on Monday 7 September we’ll be taking over the second floor at Surry Hills’ Keg & Brew Hotel - and all money raised on the night will go towards reducing the cost of our Christmas party.
To help us raise as much moolah as possible, we’re inviting our community (and their friends and family) to join us for our very own battle of wits. Whether trivia is your jam or not, our fundraiser will be a night of fun, prizes, giveaways and good times!

We’ve dropped another TEN socials, this time meeting up for movies, a concert, a festival, brunch, Luna Park, board games, takeaways, an inclusive rave and a ghost parade.

Federal government passes NDIS overhaul
Last week Parliament passed changes to the NDIS - potentially impacting many within our community.
Understandably, these reforms have created a level of uncertainty.
The team at Every Australian Counts have put together a factsheet, providing advice for those impacted.

Changes within
A reminder that we at GB HQ have made the decision to merge the Gig Buddies Sydney and Gig Buddies Central Coast newsletters and social media accounts.
As of next Monday (31 August) we will discontinue the Gig Buddies Central Coast’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. Additionally, the Gig Buddies Central Coast newsletter will end.
Between now and 31/8 we will contact those who are signed up or subscribed to the Gig Buddies Central Coast newsletters and social media accounts.
Moving forward, for those based on the Central Coast, they can still get their share of Gig Buddies’ news by following or subscribing to the Sydney equivalents.

And lastly, in other social media news, Gig Buddies Sydney has officially joined TikTok!
We’re just starting out with the platform and we’re encouraging our supporters to give us a follow, like our videos and share them with your friends to help us spread the word and build up our community.
