Six more to go

Writer: Gig Buddies SydneyGig Buddies Sydney

Following back-to-back training sessions we’re now in a position to pair up more gig buddies.

Thanks to Ali, Jessie and Damien for attending Saturday’s training session (above, L - R), and we’re also indebted to volunteers Mitra, Dinah and Vrinda for coming in the weekend before (24/2 - below, L-R).

With two more training sessions lined up within the next two months, we’re looking forward to increasing the number of paired up buddies.

As we inform all gig buddies who sign up, pairing people can take some time. Not only do we match buddies on mutual interests, but location, age and gender preferences are also taken into consideration.

While it can take some time to pair people, anyone who signs up to become a gig buddy can attend our social events. In less than three weeks time we kick off our trips to watch charity partner, Cronulla Sharks, in action.

Whether paired up or not, if you’d like to join your fellow gig buddies at the NRL get in touch via email:: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
