One week into 2019 and we’ve been busy.
Last Wednesday (9/1) we kicked off our Sydney Festival festivities, attending A Ghost in my Suitcase at the Sydney Opera House.
Thanks to Sami, Emmy, Trish, Nicole, Raph, Marissa and Audrey (below, L - R) for joining us on the evening.
And yesterday we headed to Sydney Olympic Park’s Spotless Stadium for the Big Bash clash between Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers.
Gerard, Robyn, Ben, Neil, Ross, Matthew, Patrick, Stavros, Michael, Joseph, Brendan and Keith (above, L - R) formed part of the 17,010 crowd as the Thunder coasted to victory against the reigning champions, winning by 71 runs.
And in the middle of our first batch of social events for 2019, we made three more buddy pairings. Welcome to the family Reema and Taylah, Nicole and Trish, Daniel and Alessio (above, clockwise).
Go West
Coinciding with the resumption of our involvement with Sydney Festival, we head to Parramatta on two occasions this week; starting tomorrow at Riverside Theatres for the sold out Shanghai Mimi event, and on Saturday (19/1) we’ll be unfolding our picnic rugs at The Crescent for Symphony Under The Stars.
If you would like to join your fellow buddies for a night of opera, get in touch via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
Following last week’s blog where we announced our entire summer gig guide, tickets to our fourth birthday, the basketball and our two trips to the open-air cinema have been selling well.
