Calling female buddies♀️

Our user-led team, Soul Fly Band, are on the lookout for new members.

Specifically, they’re looking to improve their gender diversity and are wanting female buddies to join the team.

For those of you wanting to know more about Soul Fly Band, we suggest spending 1 minute and 40 seconds of your time watching the following clip.

And if you want to know why you should join Stavros, Lachy, Jack, Fraser and Audrey for our monthly meetups, the following video may provide you with some answers.

Our user led-team have been around since 2016 and currently compromise of four males to one female. They meet during the last Friday of each month for around two hours, usually at our McMahons Point office but in times of Covid catch ups have taken place via Zoom.

A walk round up

This past weekend buddies put on their hiking boots for walks in both Freshwater (16/10) and Waverton (17/10) - thanks to everyone who joined myself and Carol.

To see more photos from our walks, click here.

This weekend’s Balls Head (23/10) and Como to Oatley (24/10) walks are fully booked, but there are limited spots available for our second stroll in the Shire, taking place on Thursday 29 October.

If you would like to walk with us from Como to Oatley, click here to reserve your spot.

One more to the team

And lastly, this week we prepped Daniel (below) - our newest trained volunteer.

Thanks for coming in - we’re looking forward to introducing you to your buddy soon.
