CONFIRMED: Our 11th birthday party plans are locked in.

We invite buddies to celebrate with us on Thursday 21 May as we take over Newtown’s The Vanguard.
Expect a night of live music and great company. Whether you’re based in Sydney or on the Central Coast, we invite you to join us for our birthday bash.
Tickets to our birthday cost $30 and include live music, lucky door prizes and much more.

Going, going, gone
As for the months of March and April, tickets are selling fast to all forthcoming socials.
First up, of our remaining six March meet ups, three have sold out and limited spots are available for the remaining gatherings.

Please note, the Jellybean Jam gathering in Five Dock, inclusive rave in Erskineville and musical bingo in Kingsford have all sold out.
All go in April
And as for April, we’re hosting TEN gatherings, three of which have now sold out.

We recently announced two new outings to our April roster: lunch and a self-guided tour of Q Station Museum and a Friday night BBQ at Lane Cove Bowling Club.

In February we facilitated TEN socials, connecting with buddies in Moore Park, Cronulla, Collaroy, Chester Hill, Hornsby, Penrith, the CBD, Warnervale and Summer Hill.

Give to gain
Yesterday was International Women’s Day.
For those who may have missed our social media post, we paid homage to the countless number of women who have not only given their time to the project, but have made a lasting impact on improving social inclusion for people with disabilities.

In line with yesterday’s theme, we stand in support of the message: Give to gain.
Taken from the IWD website: “Give To Gain emphasises the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organisations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.
Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected worl

This is scheduled to come out in July, and to mark the milestone we’re dedicating the entire edition to the people who make us who we are.

We’re wanting to hear from buddies, volunteers and our supporters - irrespective if you’ve been paired for the entirety of our existence or if you’ve recently met your Gig Buddies’ match. Whether you’ve had one buddy or a number of volunteers, or if you only attend our events - we want to share your sentiments.
If you’re no longer part of Gig Buddies but were at one stage, we want to platform your opinions.
Whether you’re based in Sydney, the Northern Beaches, Western and Greater Western Sydney, the Inner West or on the Central Coast, we would love to hear from you.
We’re looking for buddies, volunteers and our supporters to share stories, selfies, videos, Vox pops, photos, art pieces, testimonies, interviews, commemorative dances - nothing is off limits.
